Well, it is, but this baby carrier has buckles. Tyler has almost outgrown the Baby Bjorn and I was getting tired of using my other mei tai carriers. The tying and un-tying. Not so convenient when I'm toting both kids around town. I considered getting a Ergo Baby carrier. Maybe I might later, but I just couldn't justify spending the $ on it until I tried to make something similar. Looked online for a tutorial (didn't find one), brainstormed and ended up plugging away at my first sewing project in months. Took one night (stayed up late) and ended up with a baby carrier I think should work for us. Now we are ready for more outdoor playdates!!
